Glengowrie’s western edge runs along parts of Diagonal Road, with Oaklands Road on its southern side and Morphett Road to the east. Westfield Marion’s street address is on Diagonal Road, so the shops are close by.
It’s the suburb with the Glengowrie Tram Depot and the dog park at Hazelmere Reserve. After a walk at Hazelmere, a coffee at ours is a fair reward.

Getting here from Glengowrie
Glengowrie is bounded by the Glenelg tram line, Morphett Road, Oaklands Road and Diagonal Road, so you’ve got choices.
- By car: follow Diagonal Road south to Westfield Marion at 297 Diagonal Rd. Morphett Road and Oaklands Road also lead to the centre. Westfield Marion has its own car parks; check their website for current details.
- By tram: the Glenelg tram runs along Glengowrie’s northern edge but doesn’t go to the centre. Use Adelaide Metro’s journey planner for a bus to the Marion Bus Interchange.
- By bike or on foot: the Sturt River Linear Park crosses the north-eastern tip of Glengowrie and follows the river between Glenelg and Marion.
- Coming from the beach: Glengowrie’s western tip is about 2 km from Glenelg’s beaches.
